Many thanks to our partners Anything Swindon for producing the programme again this year.

.On the back of last year’s highly successful Old Town Festival we are pleased to announce the dates for 2016. These are Saturday 11th June through to Saturday 18th June. The Family Day on the Lawn will be on Sunday 12th June and the mammoth pop/rock concert in the Bowl, Town Gardens will be on Saturday 18th June.

“We wanted to get the dates in early doors to avoid clashes as much as possible with other events happening in the locality. We had such a good response to the Family Day being on the Sunday, so we have decided to do so again in 2016. As a child Sundays were a family day when we spent time together walking in the park and enjoyed a weekly tea of jelly and ice cream, cakes and sandwiches, in that order!  Commonweal are pleased to be once again supporting this much loved family festival!” said Josie Williams, Festival Chair and Community Arts Development Officer at The Commonweal School.
